Terms of Service

Effective 23 October 2026

These Terms govern your use of RIPVault at https://rip-vault.com and our related channels (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them, together with our Privacy Policy and the other policies in this Help Centre, which form part of these Terms.

1. Who can use RIPVault

  • You must be 18 years or older and legally able to enter into a contract.
  • You must be a resident of Malaysia, and you may not use the Service from any place where it is unlawful.
  • One account per person. You may not create or use accounts on behalf of others.

2. Your account

  • RIPVault is passwordless. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email or phone, or with Google or Telegram. Keep those accounts secure — anyone with access to them can access your RIPVault account.
  • Give us accurate details and keep them up to date. Your name on withdrawals and shipments must match your verified identity.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Packs and cards

  • Each pack contains one physical, professionally graded card drawn from the pack's pool at the odds shown on the pack page. The draw is random and provably fair (how it works).
  • When you pull a card you become its owner. We hold it for you in our vault free of charge until you sell it back or ship it.
  • Every pack contains one real card and we deliver the exact card you pulled. In the rare case that we cannot obtain that exact card, we refund 100% of the card's value at the moment of your pull to your Balance, and we tell you in your notifications.
  • Only a card you pulled yourself comes with a sell-back offer. A card bought on the marketplace has no sell-back offer.
  • Card values are market values taken from a public price source (for example PriceCharting), shown with each card together with the date they were last updated. Values change over time; the value locked with your pull is the one used for its sell-back offer.
  • Card images are studio renders of the actual card; see About our card images. The card you receive is the exact card shown.
  • Every pack contains one real card. Each pack you open holds exactly one professionally graded, physical card from that pack's published pool, with a guaranteed minimum value shown on the pack page.
  • Pack purchases are final. A pack that has been opened cannot be refunded.
  • Welcome packs. New accounts receive up to three free Welcome packs, each containing one graded card from our Welcome pool (about RM45–80): Welcome pack 1 on verifying a Malaysian (+60) phone number (a verified email alone does not qualify), Welcome pack 2 after the account's first top-up, and Welcome pack 3 when a player the account invited completes their first top-up. One set per phone number, per device and per verified identity; packs 2 and 3 belong to the account that opened pack 1. A Welcome card can be sold back only for Pack Credits (under the buyback formula in section 7; these credits expire 30 days after the sell-back, are never withdrawable and cannot pay for a whole pack on their own), can be shipped only after the account's first top-up of at least RM50, and can never be listed. A Welcome card neither sold back nor shipped within 30 days of opening expires, whether or not the account has topped up (we remind you 2 days before). Welcome packs claimed with duplicate accounts, numbers, devices or identities are void.

4. Your wallet: what can and cannot be withdrawn

The total shown in your wallet is made up of different kinds of value, and not all of it can be withdrawn. The Withdraw screen (Wallet → Withdraw) shows how much you can withdraw right now.

  • Withdrawable money is money you have earned on RIPVault: the Balance share of your sell-back proceeds (section 7), Battle winnings, and any other earnings we tell you in writing are withdrawable. You can take it out under the withdrawal rules in section 6.
  • Non-withdrawable value is everything else:
    • Top-ups — money you add is for opening packs. It cannot be withdrawn and it is not refunded, whether or not you have spent it.
    • Pack Credits — value we give you, for example daily check-in rewards, Welcome card sell-back credits, referral and partner (KOL) rewards, leaderboard prizes and the Pack Credits share of a sell-back (section 7).
    Non-withdrawable value can only be used to open packs (Pack Credits also for Pack Parties). Using it to open a pack does not turn it into withdrawable money — only the sell-back of the card you pulled can create withdrawable money, for the parts of the pack's price described in the next point.
  • Pack Credits in detail. Pack Credits have no cash value. They cannot be withdrawn, refunded, transferred to another person or exchanged for anything else. Expiry. Check-in credits expire 7 days after you receive them. Referral and partner (KOL) credits, leaderboard prizes, community prizes and Welcome card sell-back credits each expire 30 days after you receive them. Pack Credits that come back to you from a sell-back keep the kind and the expiry date of the credits that paid for that pack — a sell-back never gives them a new 30 days. Expired credits are removed. Your Wallet shows in one line how many Pack Credits expire within the next 14 days (tap it for the list), and when RM30 or more is about to expire we send you a reminder by email and SMS 14 days and 7 days before — at most one message a day. On every pack the credits that expire soonest are used first, then your Balance. Check-in and Welcome card sell-back credits cannot pay for a whole pack on their own; Referral and partner (KOL) credits have no minimum: whatever amount you have can be used, and they can pay for any pack they fully cover on their own; different kinds can be combined on one pack. A grant may carry extra conditions, which we state when we give it.
  • Where a sell-back goes. A sell-back is split by the source of each part of the pack's price: the part paid with top-up money (Balance), Referral Pack Credits or KOL Pack Credits goes to your Balance and is withdrawable; the part paid with any other Pack Credits (daily check-in, Welcome card sell-back credits, leaderboard prizes, partner-link bonus, gifts, or Pack Credits returned by an earlier sell-back) goes back to Pack Credits. A card from a Welcome pack always sells back into Pack Credits. Example: a RM100 pack paid with RM50 of top-up money, RM30 of Referral Pack Credits and RM20 of check-in Pack Credits, later sold back for RM90 → RM72 to your Balance (RM45 for the top-up part + RM27 for the referral part) and RM18 back to Pack Credits (the check-in part). The amounts are rounded to the sen and always add up exactly to the sell-back amount; the split is fixed when you pull the card and shown before you confirm (section 7).
  • We may end or change a promotion at any time. If we end one, we will tell you and you will have at least 14 days to use the credits already granted under it.
  • Corrections and recovery. If something is credited to your wallet by mistake, we may correct it. If we find fraud, a chargeback or payment reversal, or another breach of these Terms, we may deduct the amount involved from your Balance or Pack Credits (or recover it from your cards), and we will record the reason.

5. Top-ups, payments and refunds

  • You can add funds using the payment methods shown at checkout, for example online banking (FPX), debit and credit cards and e-wallets. Availability may change and a method may be paused from time to time. Top-ups are credited once the payment is confirmed.
  • Payments are handled by third-party payment providers, and their own terms also apply to your payment. We do not store your card number or online banking login.
  • Only pay with a payment method that belongs to you. Starting a chargeback or reversal for a completed top-up breaches these Terms; we may suspend the account and recover the amount (section 4).
  • Refunds. Opened packs are never refunded, whatever card came out, and top-ups and unspent Balance are not refunded. If a system error affects you — for example you were charged but no pack was opened, or you were charged twice for the same pack — contact us at [email protected] with your username and the time. We check each case against our records and, once an error is confirmed, correct it in full. Details: Return & Refund Policy.
  • Prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Any applicable taxes are included unless stated otherwise.
  • Nothing in sections 4 and 5 affects any right you have under the law that applies to you.

6. Withdrawals and identity verification

  • You may withdraw only your withdrawable money (section 4) to a Malaysian bank account in your own name. Top-ups and Pack Credits cannot be withdrawn.
  • Withdrawal fee: 1% of the amount, plus any third-party, gateway or bank transfer charge passed on at cost. The fee and the amount you will receive are shown before you confirm. Minimum and maximum amounts, and any daily limit, are shown when you make the request (see Wallet, Withdrawals & ID check).
  • We pay only to a bank account in the same name as your verified identity. We are not responsible for a payout sent to account details you entered incorrectly.
  • Every withdrawal and every shipment requires a verified phone number. Before your first withdrawal or shipment you must also complete identity verification (KYC Policy). We may ask for further documents at any time and may hold a payout while we check it.
  • Anti-money-laundering checks may delay or decline a withdrawal. We may refuse or reverse a payout where we reasonably suspect fraud, collusion, money laundering, or a breach of these Terms, and we may be required to report such activity to the authorities.

7. Sell-back

Buyback = Market Value × 95%, less a processing fee of 10% of that buyback amount. You receive 85.5% of Market Value — for example, for a card with a Market Value of RM100: Buyback RM95.00 − processing fee RM9.50 = you receive RM85.50. The same formula applies to every sell-back, including Welcome cards. "Market Value" is the card's price from the public source shown with the card (for example PriceCharting), with the date it was last updated, at the moment of your pull. Each card you pull comes with this offer, locked at the pull and valid for 30 minutes from opening (we may change the rate or window for future pulls; the offer shown with your card is the one that applies). The offer, the processing fee and the amount you will receive are shown before you confirm. When you accept, the card leaves your Vault and the amount is split by the source of each part of the pack's price, as set out in section 4: top-up money, Referral Pack Credits and KOL Pack Credits → your Balance; every other kind of Pack Credits → back to Pack Credits; Welcome pack cards → entirely Pack Credits. The split is fixed at the pull and shown before you confirm. Nothing is paid out as cash at that moment, and the sale is final and cannot be reversed. Once you accept an offer it is final, the card returns to our inventory and your Balance and/or Pack Credits are credited immediately. After the window closes the card remains yours and cannot be sold back.

8. Shipping

You may have your cards delivered within Malaysia only; delivery takes 7–14 days from your request, under the fees in our Shipping policy. Shipped cards cannot be sold back. Risk in the parcel passes to you on delivery; parcels are insured in transit.

9. Pack Battle and Pack Party

Rooms are governed by the Pack Battle & Pack Party Rules. In a Pack Battle the lower-value pull pays for both packs: the loser's hold covers the winner's pack price and the winner is refunded in full. Rooms are monitored; results produced by collusion or multiple accounts are void and the funds involved may be withheld.

10. Fair use

You agree not to:

  • hold more than one account, or use another person's account, identity or payment method;
  • use bots, scripts or automation, or interfere with the Service or its security;
  • collude with other players, fix Battle results, or abuse promotions, referrals or credits;
  • use the Service to launder money or for any unlawful purpose;
  • harass other users or our staff, or post unlawful content.

If you do, we may void affected results and credits, withhold related funds, suspend or close your account, and recover losses caused to us. Your own cards and legitimately earned Balance remain yours and will be returned after verification, less any amounts owed.

11. Suspension and closure

You may close your account at any time by contacting us; we will first settle your cards (sell-back or shipment) and any withdrawable Balance. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these Terms, legal reasons, or prolonged inactivity after giving notice where the law allows.

Abnormal account activity. If we see activity on an account that appears abnormal — for example several accounts run by the same person or from the same device, connection or bank account, referral or promotion abuse, coordinated sign-ups, or buying and immediately selling back mainly to move money — we may review the account and, while we do, limit or freeze it, hold withdrawals, and withhold or remove rewards, credits and referral earnings obtained through that activity. We will tell you when we can, and you may contact us to explain. Where the review confirms abuse, we may close the account and void the rewards involved. This does not limit your rights under applicable law.

12. Intellectual property

The Service, its design and software belong to RIPVault. Card names, artwork and brands belong to their owners, who are not affiliated with us. See Intellectual Property.

13. Disclaimers and liability

  • Opening packs involves chance. The value of a card you pull may be lower than the pack price. Never spend more than you can afford to lose — see Responsible Play.
  • Card values are our good-faith estimates and are not a guarantee of resale value elsewhere.
  • The Service is provided “as is”. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. If an error (such as a mis-priced pack or a technical fault) gives a result that was clearly not intended, we may correct it and restore the affected balances.
  • To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
  • Your legal rights. These Terms do not limit your rights under applicable law. Where the law gives you rights that cannot be excluded or reduced by agreement, those rights apply in addition to these Terms.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, and the effective date at the top shows when it last changed; for important changes we will also let you know in the app. If you keep using RIPVault after an update takes effect, you are agreeing to the updated Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service — you can still withdraw your withdrawable Balance and ship or sell back your cards under these Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are written in English, and the English version is the one that applies. These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes will be dealt with by the courts of Malaysia. Please contact us first — most problems are solved within a day.
